For many years now, Fence Factory Rentals has masterfully manufactured and installed temporary gates for residential, industrial and commercial construction projects stretching from the Central Coast down to Southern California. Our high quality chain-link gates do a fantastic job of protecting homes and businesses until the time that permanent gates are put in. These gates are also used to create controlled entry points for workers and equipment at the construction sites.

No matter your particular temporary construction gate needs, we are fully capable of providing dependable, reasonably-priced solutions along with outstanding service. Our standard gates are available in heights of 6’ and 8’, and widths of 4’, 10’, 12’ and 14’ (14′ not available for 8′ heights). As requirements differ from project to project, we also offer custom temporary gates that are carefully fabricated at a Fence Factory Rentals weld shop.

We’ve built gates of all sorts, even ones with high-security panic bars, electric card readers or key code entry. If we don’t have exactly what you need on hand, we can efficiently and accurately make it.

Our temporary swing gates are hinged to reliably swing almost a full 360 degrees. To prevent gates in rougher terrain from dragging on the ground, which hinders their operation, we often add swivel wheels as a corrective measure. We can also construct temporary slide gates that smoothly roll along a defined track. Typically, the gate posts are driven 24’ into the ground. If needed, we can also use flange posts that anchor to concrete.

For residential construction projects with young children and/or pets on the premises, we highly recommend our self-closing walk through gates. This incredibly convenient and effective safety option comes equipped with a striker/receiver latch and gate spring to make certain that the gate does not remain open by accident.

Another safety measure that works well at all kinds of locations is the drop rod assembly. This upgrade option works for any size double gate, and holds both gates in closed position when the latch is engaged. With this setup, you can also keep one side firmly in the closed position while leaving the other gate free to open.
